How to Have Hot, Passionate Sex and Beat the Bedroom Blahs

Just about every couples experiences it-bedroom blahs. You know what they are. Your beloved calls you to bed and you can't even motivate yourself to get off the sofa. Or you find yourself feeling frisky, but would just as soon pleasure yourself as get between the sheets and go through your usual boring routine together.

Fortunately, there are some genuine solutions to heating things up when you're bored out of your gourd.

Solution #1: Admit that you're bored.

Don't keep your bedroom boredom a secret. Let your partner know-nicely-that you'd like to spice things up. Chances are, your partner has also noticed that you've been less than enthusiastic lately. Don't make it personal, just say that you've been in the mood for a change and want your partner's cooperation.

Solution #2: Take action.

Not fair to sit and complain or pout. If you want your lovemaking to be more passionate, then you've got to take the initiative. Maybe you're the one that needs to get the kids out of the house for the evening so that you can have more time to explore some new avenues, like a visit to the sex shop that just opened up down the road. Or maybe you're the one that's going to bring a blindfold to bed.

Solution #3: Brush up on technique.

One of the big reasons sex gets boring is because couples really do tend to do the same thing over and over again. Has it been a long time since you've read a book about how to pleasure each other? Pick one up or order one online for inspiration. Just looking at some erotic material might be enough to get your imagination going. Nothing wrong with leaving a few pages bookmarked for your partner to peek at, either.

By admitting that you're bored, taking responsibility for making a change, and brushing up on your lovemaking skills, you can make the sparks start flying again. Don't take your sex life for granted. Like most every other part of your relationship, you need to put energy and effort into keeping sex vital and fun.
